When not on the road he is to be found in the dungeons of Kelvin Records a home recording studio which he runs. With Janet he runs the studio Kelvin Photography.
Robin's first solo project was Summer Storms which represents a considerable departure from traditional folk music. His second solo album is called Colours and album three is in preparation.
